KEN HANNAM – PRODUCER/DIRECTOR
Entered commercial radio from school and worked as announcer/scriptwriter in both city and country radio for six years. Took up acting in Sydney, went overseas to Britain for a year as freelance reporter and worked in the publicity department of Rediffusion Television. On his return to Australia he joined ATN-7 as producer/director. Made several films in New Guinea before joining ABC as a drama producer in 1963.
Has produced numerous hour-long dramas for ABC-TV and also an adventure series, Wandjina!, several episodes of the series on Australian customs activities called Contrabandits, and documentaries on newspaper proprietor Rupert Murdoch and aborigine leader Charles Perkins.
KEITH ADAM – SCRIPTWRITER
Reporter and scriptwriter Keith Adam has made 14 trips to the Pacific region to gather material for feature articles and to make radio and TV documentaries. Formerly an ABC staff member, he has been a freelance journalist and at present is under contract to the ABC.
In recent years, the Pacific area has been his special interest, particularly the effects of Western administration on the indigenous peoples.
