Mission statement

INTERTEL is an act of faith by its four founder members. They believe that the world’s problems can be solved more quickly by positive acts of improved communications.

Television has proved itself as a medium for dynamic, vigorous reportage and comment – and now INTERTEL seeks to add a new dimension — the depth and objectivity of international observation. America, Australia, Canada and Great Britain are partners in this ambitious project – the aim – to vitalise the inter-communication of world opinion – to probe vital developments as they happen, where they happen – and to capture a massive audience with expert presentation and compelling visual journalism. Hour-long, firsthand, produced with experience and essential knowledge of the television medium, INTERTEL programmes mean the start of a new era in world-wide communication.

In a short space of years INTERTEL will probably make immediate reports by satellite transmission. We, the founder members, intend that those reports will have immediate impact and have permanent values.
